My latest magic fun time-travelling book is called The Red-Letter Day and it was launched on April 24, 2016 – 100 years to the very day after the Proclamation of the Irish Republic by Padraig Pearse outside the GPO.

I got the idea for my Suitcases series of magic time-travelling history adventures when I took a break from my work in journalism and travel writing to go on a brilliant writing course called A Country House Writer’s Weekend.
